The Haircut Fiasco

Last night just wasn't my night. This latest haircut did NOT go well - Which is a major bummer because I have done so well on previous cuts that weren't right before we were going home to AZ. I'm patting myself on the back right now! =)

Anyway - here's the story. Nathan got all the haircutting stuff out for me so it didn't occur to me to check to make sure the attachment was on the clippers. He usually has it all set up. Well - it wasn't on and I didn't realize that until Nathan had a bald stripe up the back of his head. Woops! Nathan was a pretty good sport for the most part. I bawled the night away. I felt so terrible! Afterwards we went ahead and finished the cut (obviously it was way shorter than he had originally hoped for). I think I did as good a job as I could have with what he wanted - but the stripe was still pretty obvious. He played hooky today and Hillary buzzed the bottom off. I have my very own military man now! =) Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

I love it!!! Nathan, I still think you should have gone to school. Britt, I am proud of you for even attempting to cut Nath's hair. There is no way I would have ever tried to cut Gary's hair even though he tried many times to get me to do it. I can't wait to see the cut in person!
Love ya!

Oh my gosh - that is so funny. I literally sat at the computer by myself cracking up. Poor Nathan. What a good sport. This is seriously my biggest fear when I cut Blake's hair. You'll be telling this one to your grandkids someday!!

Ben and I both laughed out loud with those pictures! Although, if hair didn't grow back, I guess it wouldn't be quite so funny. :)

I can't believe it! I'm glad Nathan could laugh at it quickly! Wow...I would have cried to if it had happened to me while cutting Scott's hair. Better luck next time, if there is one! Just Kidding!

Holy moly cow! First off, that's hilarious, but secondly and mostly, because it JUST happened to me! Haha!

So we've been gone in WA visiting Brad's family, and taking a nice break from law school, etc. While we were there I cut Brad's hair. And I asked him what size he wanted and he said a 2. So I didn't even think about it and just shaved a strip and realized he was joking and it was too short! So I went up to a four and buzzed it, and used a three to kinda blend it all together... basically, in the right kind of light and if you know where to look, you can see the goof up!

Let's just face it Britt, we're long-distant neighbors! When and how long will you be in AZ?! We're heading out this weekend and how cool would that be to meet?! Let me know!
