She Had a Beard... and it Felt Weird.

I've never thought 29 years old is old but I'm starting to feel like time is slipping through my fingers! Aside from THREE main things I still feel like my old 18 year old self. I need to know if anyone else suffers from these ailments:

1. I have some serious gray hair issues. Don't get me wrong - I think a lot of women can pull off the gray hair look. I just don't think I'm ready to be one of them! It started when I was 22. I even plucked it out of my head and taped it to a page in my journal! Now it's out of control and my box of L'oreal hair color isn't doing the trick on my "resistant grays"! Help!

2. I have a hump. I do. And for awhile it was really hurting. Now it's just there and particularly noticeable when I hunch - which I do a lot and that is why I have it in the first place! Can I get surgery for this? Help!

3. I have a beard. Everyone has hair on their faces so I haven't been concerned until I started noticing half inch long blackish hairs on my chin! Should I start shaving? Lasik hair removal seems the best option but that will have to wait a few years. Until then - the tweezers are my best friend!

Did you know that the title of this post is from the Veggies Tales silly song - I Love My Lips? Do you love those silly songs like I do? I just found a new one that made me chuckle - particularly because of my love of boy bands and belly buttons. =) Check out Boyz in the Sink:

Thanks for all of your sweet comments on my last post! It was therapeutic to write it all down and I feel so much better. =)

Ha ha! You can't fool me. Everytime I see that picture on the top of your blog (and YOU) I am reminded that you are one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. And I do not kid - ever.

PS Sorry I didn't do more for ya last week - you fooled me with your cheerful writing in to thinking it wasn't as bad as it was. Grr...

You kill me! I love it. Although for the record...you DO NOT have a hump! The beard...I've been trying to get up the courage to make sure you were aware, but looks like you got that one covered. jk. You're the best! I think you're beautiful! At least your kids don't ask what those "little scratches" (aka. wrinkles) are on you face! ha ha.

Well, I'm still a sporty young 27, so I have NO idea what you are talking about. :) I just have to say though--Larry is the best. I think I find the Silly Songs a little bit too funny. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen or heard them--I still laugh my head off.

Hey i have black hairs that poke out on my chin too. Tweezers are my best friend!

I don't have any gray hairs yet. but since i am a licensed cosmetologist, i can tell you to buy (or have your sisters buy the supplies for you) and you do it yourself...some permanent color with 20 volume.

I just read your last post. I am so sorry for ectopic pregnancy and all the emotions it goes with it. I am sorry you had to get a D&C. And had to miss your sisters wedding. I hope you are feeling better. I think you are so brave to go through all that stuff you went through and not shed any/hardly any tears. I am not as strong as you.
