Oh. My. Gosh. Look what Nathan found under the hood while cleaning out the car yesterday!! I've been pretty pleased with the bug situation out here (aside from that MONSTER spider by our front door - remember that Sumer?!). Well - I guess I was too quick to write that. I don't like the wasps and bees either. BUT - there aren't any roaches and I seriously don't like those and I haven't seen many other beetles either - until yesterday. YIKES! At least it was dead! I wouldn't want those pincers latching onto any part of my body!
Second - once again I hit the jackpot this morning at a tag sale! I got the circus little people set (the one with the touchy feely animals) in pristine condition for $1!! AND this lamp - 25 cents!!

This is a picture from the baby shower today. It was for my friend Rachel. She is such a champion and I love her. She's such a great cheerleader and is always so encouraging when I have ideas or anything else. I'm excited to meet her little boy!!

Hello my Brittaniest of Brittanie's. I am sorry that I haven't yet responded to your IM's the other day. I have been dying to call you, but weekends are crazy! You are the sweetest friend and I knew that everything was okay. I will call you tomorrow so that we can chat. I hope you're doing good. It sounds like you had quite the party of a weekend! Okay, that bug is sick, sick, SICK! I am so not okay with bugs! Last night I had to run a quick errand, and me being the bug radar that I am, I walk out the front door and see something moving in the corner. Sure enough there was a whopper of a scorpion! Those I will never ever get used to! Gross! Thank heaven's Steve was home. It tried to get away, but after a few minutes of diligent bug hunting (Steve wanted to give up when it disappeared the first time, but heck no!) we killed the sucker good. Yesterday morning I found a dead (thank heavens) baby scorpion on our back porch. That was only after the boys had been back there playing barefoot for at least an hour. They could have picked it up. Oh that just gives me chills. Anyway, that is my bug story that I thought I would share. I am glad those pinchers didn't get to try you out. You are much too nice for that! I love you!
Gross! Lucky for us, we just get crickets! That thing looks nasty! Less than 3 months until we get to see you guys!!!
Honestly, I am so excited for you and your tag sale purchases. I have found NOTHING since I've been here and I have even given up going at all. I usually have my kids too which adds to the not fun-ness. Anyway, you girls look cute and your hair is so long!!

Sounds like a fun shower for Rachel. I'm so excited for them! Congrats on your tag sale find. Isn't that just the best? I found a brand new pottery barn toddler bed for 20 bucks last weekend and was so excited! I love good finds!
One month from today we will be there. yeehaw. We are so excited. Nathan looks very handsome in his picture. I can not even wait to go to jo anns and tag saling especially since i went there last night and i saw planty i would like to purchase at ninety percent off. please let the fates be with us. love you.
