Happy November!!

I guess I missed Halloween! But, I hope you all had a wonderful, festive, candy filled day! I sure did. It was SO busy! Nathan and I were ready to crash by 8:30! We had a fun playgroup Halloween party over at Amy's house. All the food was so yummy and there were such cute Halloween games for the kids! We met up with our friends - Jenn, Scott, Connor, and Haydn last night. The kids had a great time trick or treating and I think they lasted a lot longer since they were together. Nathan and I didn't dress up this year - although I did have some snazzy bat earrings, some cool Halloween socks and an orange shirt from my WW high school days! The GIRLS were little lovebugs. I thought they were cute! Almost everybody thought Kes was a BOY LADYBUG. Nice. You know - I totally GET that babies can go either way. But when you have a little girl with curls and bows and RED hearts ... I just don't get it.

Update - I am still without heat!! Go TEAM!

  2. I can not wait to see you guys at Christmas!!! I think Brayton and Keslie will play good together. They look absolutely adorable in their costumes. I hope someday our kids will be able to trick or treat together. I miss you guys so much. How is Nath doing in school? Have I mentioned at how jealous I am that you guys are almost done with school? I am glad you had a great Halloween. Talk to you later. Love you.

It was her! Brittanie was the one who insisted that the girls organize all their candy, so they could see their spoils. She's having a hard time letting go of 3rd grade.

Oh...and I'm all for Brittanie's not turning on the heat contest. I love being warm, but not as much as I love money in the bank.

  18. Brittanie! I haven't checked out your blog for a long time, so it was fun to catch up! I'm glad you're having such a fun fall! Though I think you're crazy about the no heat thing. When you have to wear gloves indoors, there's just something wrong with that!

  21. you have so many comments, you are so popular but I just had to say I hope you turned on the heat woman!!!! I have mine on and I live in ALABAMA!!!! Aren't your girls freezing? I think you are crazy, but I hope you get a new outfit out of it or something. I think your girls were adorable for Halloween. We need to exchange WII numbers or whatever so we can trade people. ok, is that comment long enough? We sure miss CT this time of year, but at least our leaves are starting to change now! love, JJ
